Battery recommendations
the highest CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) you can fit in the available space.
I use the ACDelco Group 78VPG but my '84 has the side terminals, so you'll need to find one with the correct type terminals or "poles" in the correct position for the cables.

just bought a new one for my S2, 650 CCA (or 640) is a good size, you can get a 720 CCA but finding the terminals for a 720 the right way ain't so easy, i use the top mount terminals with the pos/ on the engine side & both terminals @ front of battery not at fire wall side.....if you don't drive often - i fitted an isolator switch to the pos/ side - saves the battery 'cause i don't really care if the clock & radio aren't on standby.
