Hi all, I am the lucky owner of an x100 xkr and an xjs convertible and have been very fortunate with the help offered on the relevant forums. Now the xjs restoration is just about done I have bought an xj6 coupe to keep me busy. Car has been in storage some time and needs a full restoration and I am hoping the members of this forum will be kind enough to help me. I know nothing much about these fabulous cars so will probably be asking what seems like daft questions at times! First one of these is regarding the bonet. Is there any difference between series 2 and 3 or can I use either. The one on my car is too far gone to save. My car is a 1976 series 2 which I know all coupes were.
