I was driving my honda with its blown engine to my parents house to drop it off so i can swap the engine.. on route i drove past a really beautiful XJ12 1990 with 124 thousand original km on the car.. it was in great shape.. started on the first crank of the engine tho sitting 2 weeks without starting (the owner told me while looking)
Only thing it would need to fix to pass any safety anywhere would be to change a snapped parking brake cable...he was asking 2800 canadian but told me he was extremely flexible and wants to get rid of it before it sits too long.. so he said he would be willing to take in the 2000 range.. if anyone is curious or interested in this car i have the guys number in my car, and i can get you in contact with him...I would have bought it but have just bought 2 other jags for my project and no room for my honda at my house let alone another jag...had very very minor rust just under windshield and a couple tiny spots on fender on passenger back side

It's just a bit too far for me, bigex'.

Any chance you can explain your first sentence in your post above, I am confused?

"I was driving my honda with its blown engine to my parents house to drop it off so i can swap the engine.."

Cheers,
Richard
