Constant hot air from vents

Constant hot air from vents
Howdy Folks --
I am a first time Jag owner. '78 XJ6L. Trying to track down a problem with constant hot air from dash vents. FAN switch OFF, yet hot low flow air from vents. The fan is NOT running. Any ideas?

Im no mechanic but I had a similiar issue except constant hot air at the feet.
Check the heater valve in the engine bay as mine was rusted up. When I replaced it (and air cond fuse) my heating and air conditioning started to work, and I didnt have hot air constantly at my feet.
Not all my air vents are efficient but least Im now not melting while driving on a warm day!
