Default Cool movie chase featuring an XJ

I'd never even heard of Bellman and True until I was poking around on YouTube the other day. I thought this chase was cool enough that I wrote a post for the HP about it. Why don't you think there are more Jags used in movies?

Sorta. The loss of a non/appliance car is sad. In some solace, a rust bucket, beast the crusher and died with boots on.

Daughter got an "adequate" appliance type car. Much newer and far less complex than the Passat. A 2015 Nissan Note Zero?? Nice little four door hatch back. Little 4 cylinder FWD. Odd transmission. No specific gears, variable and progessive. Whe is delighted. My task is to put the Passat back together, so it can go to the lot and function as the trade in. Low bar. Drive in, no check engine light!!!

Jeep rear end is up on ramp. Partly prepped for fuel pump swap. Next, get most of the 3/4 of a tank fuel out. Siphon? Better luck this time needed. Last time, not so good.

I was waiting for someone to call me on that omission! And yes, it's a sad end for a beautiful car...

Thanks for this. I'll have to some follow up posts and try to track down some footage from these shows.

Now that I think about it a bit, that was a Series 2, was it not?
I have a Series 2L which has an extra 6 inches in the back, and there's No Way 3 big burly guys would fit into the back seat!

But doubtless it was in the script so they had to fabricate the shot.

Hmmm, "fabricate" as in "politician/speak". Jerry's gas tax and registration "maneuver" plus seeing this movie excerpt have me riled a bit.

Not to mention too ailing cars in my drive. But, whee, the Jaguar isn't one of them.
