Default Correct Me Door Plunger

i am correct in assuming that a continuity test on these door open/shut signal components should complete a ground circuit when open and break it when close? a very les testing from the screw hole to the bullet should give me a continuity?

Correct.

Open door = closed switch = path to ground.

I suppose some switches may work the other way around, depending what it is they're switching, but I've never seen one.

Cheers

so if i do a continuity test i should get an on/off single with one tip placed on the screwhole and the other on the bullet connector?
yet out of four of these switches i don't. that don't seem right..
