Very nice. What glue did you use?

Thanks, Hooter, for that info.
How did you use it? Spray, spreader, brush? How did you clamp it whilst drying?

I'm planning to do one myself so any info is useful.

I'm a great fan of Sikabond adhesives. I was always skeptical of spray adhesives but I've had a lot of success with Sikabond's on various trim applications. Brilliant stuff IMO!

spread the glue with a scraper so it was even on the dash then placed the veneer on, grease proof paper and a few sheets of thick mdf for weight so it stayed flat.

Thanks for the info, I will definitely try that.
I used araldite on the xjs (metal backing) after a couple of mishaps using normal spray glue, worked but it was a pain to use.
