Difference between XJ6 Exhaust Front Pipe Seal/Gasket

Hi All,

Whats the difference between the EBC9388 and EBC9388A exhaust Manifold to front pipe ring seal?

I’ve read on the Bell Exhaust website that the seal recommended is the ‘crush type’ seal and they list the EBC9388A. Does that mean the EBC9388 is NOT the crush type??

My list has the:

EBC9388 as an aftermarket reproduction,

and

EBC9388A as the "standard" part. AND 6 times the price of the aftermarket, duh.
