Hello again!

When I bought my Jag I only received an ignition key and no key for the doors. Is there any way to find the key code on the car so I could have some new ones made, or will I have to replace all the cylinders?

Interestingly my ignition key also works on the door lock, however I think it's due to a worn door lock that would probably accept any key put into it!

The fuel filler caps also have a different key to the door & trunk, hopefully yours are unlocked! I didn't have this key, but they were unlocked so I had a locksmith change the lock tumblers to fit the door key. Worth doing at some point so you end up with one key for all locks in addition to your ignition key.

 

no need to buy new locks, just take all 7 to a locksmith to have them re-keyed to an original key.
