A variation of "pretty lass, I see you are taken, but do you have a sister/"
At about age 18,son pulled the "followed me home" tale, at least twice.
Once, a whippet like female dog. Got a home, named "Coke". No reason??? Next a male Pit Bull !!!! Named Macho!!! I suspect he was "liberated" from the fate of an over the hill fighter. he spent the rest of his days here. Actually a great dog. Powerful beyond description.
OK with most critters, but not with other male dogs.

Yup. Lexus is merely a "fancy" name for a fancied up, guess what? a mere Toyota?
Yeah, I do the "pair" thing. Two old cars, each dependant on the other. But, after the
Jaguar's "starter" ills that tuned out to be not the starter at all, but the ignition switch, it has been fine.
Although kinda like Elinor's NIX, it rests in the garage during our recent inclement weather. Although, it was bred and born in similar weather, the Jeep does it better???
I would delight in a pair of pre 83 cars. No CA SMOG tests. Inconvenient and a huge boondogle.
