few problems with 90 xj6
ok can somebody tell me if there is a relay that controlse the back windows? front 2 and sunroof works fine but rear does not go down
2nd on braking. in wet roads i had skid the other day. you can feel the abs working and pumping. i pulled all 4 tires and seen there is plenty of breaks pads left. the rotors are somewhat old. you can feel inner and outer ridges on edge of rotor. could bad rotors be the problem? and do you recommend removing the break sheld. it hold in all brake dust and heat. any oppenions??
by the way just got the car with only 30k original miles!!!
sweetest ride i ever had!!!

1: Not to my knowledge. I believe that all of the windows are controlled using the same relay. However, the switches could have gone bad (yes, both switches). Unplug the switches for the front windows, and plug them into the rear windows (if the plugs allow), and see if they will allow you to set them down. If it doesn't, it could also be your window motors.
2: ABS doesn't always work on wet roads. Check your brake fluid level. Also, have a brake shop check the tolerance for your rotors. If you're below tolerance, your ABS might not work as well.
3: Pics of your car???
