Hiya. First Post from me. I have a series 2 xj12 is it possible to fit a series 1 dashboard into it?

 

I don't know if a series 1 will fit into a series 2. However a series 3 dash can definitely go into a series 2.
The only difference is in the size of the annunciator panel between the speedometer and tachometer. It is not really noticeable.

All I will offer to this thread is that the series 1 & 2 bodies differ mainly in the area of the forward bulkhead. The series 1 cars have a double bulkhead, the series 2 and single, Since this is the area of the car that you wish to modify, I would be very careful before going ahead.
