Fuel in air valve bleeder
I noticed the very top hose of my air valve bleeder in the truck was kinked so I decided to replace with a longer hose. I know raw fuel from pump goes into one port of the air valve bleeder and exits out the other port that is the non-return valve. But the hose connection I was replacing was the "top" that connects to a pipe that might go to the vent canister... not 100% sure.
But the issue is that when I disconnected the top hose, raw fuel came dripping out. Not a lot but enough for me to grab a rag to soak it up. So my question is.. I had thought that this top connection would be for vapor only.
Is my air valve bleeder in need of a change, or is it normal to have fuel at this point?
