XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III 1968-1992

Fuel Pump won't pressurize when key is moved to ON, wont start.

Any ideas guys? I'm now thinking timing or compression but I was practically ideling out of a parking lot so I don't think it could be those options but I'm just out of ideas.

St. Augustine? my favorite place! the first New World Discovery settlement in North America by the Spaniards. Did you see the Fort? it's small compared to the one in San Juan Puerto Rico (called "San Cristobal", it's a giant fortress), and so many others throughout South America. Did you see the horrible Goth Tower out in the ocean where they kept the French prisoners? Looks like The Devil's Tower, a horrible looking building.

on the Jag: I've never had to hold the flap open to get my car started? I know there is a "mod" (fix) for the AFM where a resistor is soldered somewhere in the circuit board but I don't know if that is the problem with yours or even if it applies here, I never did that AFM mod to my car. Have you checked the Neutral Safety Switch in front of the Shifter?
