Default Gassy smell while driving ('87 SIII XJ6)

Last couple days I'm noticing a more pronounced gassy smell while driving. It's not constant or overpowering, but seems more noticeable than previously. I have replaced the rail fuel hoses, and don't see any leaks there, and have also inspected/replaced trunk hoses as needed; no leaks that I can see, and trunk itself doesn't smell like gas. I've sniffed (and looked) around the car a bit (charcoal canister, fuel tanks, etc.) but am not noticing anything. It is possible it's just me getting more dialed into the car and noticing more minor "normal" things, but I thought I'd get some opinions.

Any ideas on things I should check on?

Ok, I should have searched before I posted. Looks like there are lots of possible causes. Here are some posts discussing:

This reminds me, I must take those fuel containers that I filled up a week ago out of the Jags boot .
