Grease zeros
I think some replacement joints arte "lifetime" lubed. No Zerks needed. Well, what is lifetime, huh? My 83 is now 30n years old and has ball joints with Zerks. Not long after I got it in 20111 or so, I spent a lot of time down and under with a bunch of new Zerks and a pair of grease guns, one manual and one air boosted. Oddly, I found the manual one seemed to bust frozen fittings better than the air boosted unit??

Carl is right. You have replacement ball joints.
The downside is that they can't be lubricated. The upside is that they generally have much higher quality boots so the grease is much more likely to stay in place

Not only this, but they last for ever, (well, almost !). It was real bliss when I fitted the later Lemforder ball joints to my 1980 XJ6. No more horrible early front tyre wear, no greasing. These were introduced in the XJ40 in 1986, and are backwardly compatible to the Mark 1 saloon of 1955, so fit Mark 2s, S-types, 420, Mark 10, but not E-type, at least not as far as I know.
Same for rack? . I have an itch to give it a shot o grease . No complaints tho . Drives nice .. Feels fairly tight .. No growls or whines . I've had the front up on both sides and u can turn wheels by grabbing the wheel smoothly . If it ain't broke don't fix it . Most of this relates to the curb I hit on right front and car drifts right . New wheel and then alignment. They set toe-in and said camber was good but caster on right at zero. " we don't have shims for Jaguar " was teir reply . Jerks . Couldn't be easier . I've improved by shimming positive but am afraid I did bend something slightly. Drives straight now ? May replace some components in future.
