High Idle Speed and Lack of Engine Braking

Well, today I checked out the AAV repair; the idle was most definitely lower. Went from about 1400 rpm to about 800, and I was able to adjust further with the idle bolt on the AAV. So, I am thinking that problem is resolved although I will likely convert it back if and when I am able to get a replacement heat bulb for the AAV, or a used AAV that is not so expensive!
Did not have time today to follow that rubber line at the left air cleaner location........hope to follow that one this week-end!
Now, on to the next problem.......I will start a new subject posting for it.
