Hood won't open

Hood won't open
As if I needed another problem . . .
After getting the head out yesterday, I dropped the hood down and it latched on the driver side (LH). Pulling on the handle won't open it, and I can get the other side latched to try and even it out.
So, is there a way to get in and trigger the latch?
