Default Hose part number at t-stat and water pump

Can anyone provide the part number and description of the smaller diameter hose that runs from the water pump to the front of the thermostat housing?

I can't seem to find a diagram (why does classic jag parts only show XJ12?) and I'm not sure if is being called the bypass hose C-41356, which makes sense, or the water pump to pipe hose CAC-5152.

Mine is mangled so I can't exactly try to match a picture.

you might post your question in the XJ-S forum. This forum is for XJ-6 Sedans from 1968 up to 1987.

No, you have it right, it’s C41356. I’ve looked it up, and also under the hood to refresh my memory .

Regards,
Andrew.

Item #12 in this illustration

Not sure why they opted to show only Series III V12 stuff but if you go to the limousine section you can often find what you're looking for.

Or here

Sorry, I'm used to posting in the XJS forum where the default is assumed to be mid-range 5.3L, which is me. I keep making posts in the XJ6 forum about my 1987 series III without specifying.

Thanks guys, after getting that part number, which was confirmed by #12 on the limo diagram, a quick search shows its used on a bunch of other vehicles, like a Ford Tempo. So easy online order after that.

I emailed Jaguar and they said: "There is no interactive catalogue on our web site for Series 3 XJ6 I am afraid because that model predates the initiation of digital, on-line catalogues, created by Jaguar for their Retailer network. JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) is the template we use for the Classic Web Site.

For vehicles which predate the electronic cataloguing era, we have provided scanned copies of the original parts catalogue, under the "Older Vehicle" section of the web site "

Which doesn't make sense to me, since older cars are available in the catalogue.
Btw, I'm new to the XK6, who's bright idea was it to put all this plumbing ABOVE THE DIZZY?
