how to remove rear seats?
Running wires for Subwoofers to the trunk in my 82 xj6. I've got the wires all hidded, lower seat portion removed now I'm stuck. Can't get upper seats off and looks like there is nowhere to run cables through. I've got the 2 bottom bolts out bit feels like there is still some up top I can't feel or see

1) first pull up / raise the front of the seat itself and remove it out of the car; The Seat itself is held in place by two Spring brackets at the front edges.
2) at the bottom corners of the seat's Back, you will see two "U" brackets screwed to the body, remove the screws;
3) push the seat's Back UPWARDS and then towards the front of the car to release it from two catch brackets located at the top shoulders of the Back.
this system goes back to the 1950's, all Jaguar Saloons (Sedans) are the same way.

Passenger side, just to the left of the battery there is a blank that fills in where the steering columns would have been if it was a RHD car. It should have two vacuum lines. You can drill that, it's replaceable.
Better yet, if you need a high amperage 12V tap... right about the same place behind the air duct there is a lug on the inside of the car you can use. It will have a heavy rubber boot around it. lts un-fused, safety first...disconnect the battery when fiddling with this.
