Default ID shift

Does anyone know where I might purchase a new or good used ID shift plate. Part # cac4770. It has the hole for
the cruise control switch. Greatly appreciate any help.

Mine wasn’t that great when I bought the car. It’s cracked, worn lettering by the cruise switch hole.
I just got the brushes, they were missing also. If your willing to sell it let me know how we can make
the exchange,and I’ll set it up. Thanks,Jose.

the one I have is also in bad condition. I have two others but they are for Series 2, without the cruise switch, a smaller version.

Contact David at Everyday XJ
he might have a new-old-stock one, or a nice used one.

No nothing on his site. Welsh enterprises has one. They’re a little pricey for what it is but, you know, you can’t take it with you.

Just cause David doesn't have it on his site doesn't mean he doesn't have it or can get it. Spoken from experience and he's a great guy to work with!!

I don't seem to ever be able to find things on his web site. But drop him a quick email and he sends right back a link with photos and price. He then sends you a link to pay and he ships it out pronto. Always reasonable price and the best service you could possibly ask for. And if something is not right he makes it right.

I found a second one in better shape. If David does not have one let me know.

they get cracked when you try to remove the Cruise switch. The switch is held by a plastic clip underneath and by a smaller cutout in the shifter surround, a very tight fit.

then there is a green mica piece which gets burnt if a higher wattage bulb is used.
