A question. 1977 XJ6C. The factory XJ6 parts manual shows the ignition relay DAC 1027 behind the instrument panel, but when I search the part number, it turns up this round can style relay that’s mounted against the firewall.
can anyone enlighten me? Are there two relays in the system?

The DAC1027 and the Lucas numbers mentioned by Gatucho are rather generic relays used for various functions (and in various locations) over a wide span of years and models. For whatever reason Jaguar decided to sell the later-design DAC1027 as a replacement for the original....which is still available thru specialty suppliers.
