Injectors

Injectors
Greetings all,
I recently purchased my second 1987 XJ6. My first was a 305 small block powered car. I sold it many years ago and spent the proceeds on a trip to Belgium. But now I'm back in the game with an original inline 6 setup. This car came from an eBay auction as did the previous, but this time around I feel a little cheated. But that's neither here nor there. Let's just getting running right.
Here is the situation: 1987 XJ6. After doing a basic tune-up (plugs, wires, filters, etc) I've been diagnosing a misfire. I've narrowed it down to a bad injector. I have the number 3 and 4 injectors out of the engine. Number 4 (counting from the back) sounded weak compared to the others. I had it in my hand and gave it power to actuate it and the pin doesn't seem to move at all. With a small piece of hose attached to it filled with carb cleaner the best it can do is dribble the carb cleaner out. The number 3 injector with the same setup shoots out the carb cleaner in a nice spray.
So the questions are: If I soak it overnight (which I am doing) will it be any better? Well I can answer that in the morning, but is this going to be a fix? Let's say it's no better in the morning, should I go ahead and buy a remanufactured one from Beck Arnley?

Also, is this the proper seal kit I need?

Thanks in advance for any advice or input.

I recently went through a similar situation with my '90 model XJ6.
Car had been sitting, entire fuel system clogged up plus two injectors completely dead.
Probably a little more soaking, with maybe some compressed air while activating the injector will get yours working.
I bought reseal kits from a local parts house (O'Reillys). In addition to the seals and spacers, they also came with new pintle caps. Cost $3.29 per injector, in the store the next morning.

Only problem - these kits (and all the similar ones I've seen), do not contain the injector filter baskets, and mine were trashed!
Went on eBay and found a good deal on the filter baskets, cheap shipping and the whole schmear.
While perusing the seller's other auction items, damned if he wasn't offering an entire 6-cylinder kit, everything including filter baskets for $10.95 plus $3.00 shipping!
Grrrr ..... I coulda kicked myself!
Anyway, he shipped my filter baskets real quick, real happy with his service.
Here's a link to the kit I was talking about:

Good luck!

Personally I'd take 'em all out and have them professionally cleaned all at once...and be done with it :-)
