Talking And, It's A PASS!!

After I got Nix down off the blocks, having pulled the plug on any engine swap plans ever, I took the opportunity of a Very Nice Day to take her to her Emissions Test, which is due next month but why wait? The tech was a bit surprised that it's been 4 years since I took her to this guy, as last time we did battle with the Referee! But we prevailed.

Besides re-routing vacuum lines, the Ref did a bit of, um, Tuning, because her numbers were nothing short of Stellar! Even the tech was impressed.

And some Celebratory Shopping.

(This is her best side)
It's Spring, and this kitty is on the road once again, after a long hibernation!

Nix and I are Pleased!

Good for you, Eleanor. Nothing quite like getting a classic car out for the first drive in the spring. Our area's first car show is this weekend; we don't display our car but it gives us a destination for weekend drives.

Isn't it always a relief when all goes well? Massachusetts doesn't have emissions testing, but we do have a yearly safety inspection and I find it's always a fingers crossed experience.
