But you're so right about that Condescending attitude. Husband found that site for me just after Nix came to live with us. I knew Nothing about Jags and was eager to learn Everything.
Even so I never felt welcome over there even in the beginning. Not only did I have being a Girl against me, but my Jag had been Defiled with a (shudder) Chevy engine and I wasn't the least bit contrite about it! So they let me know right soon that "We have a place for people like you, so you just get yourself over to the Lump section and stay there!" or words to that effect. They might have overlooked the Girl part, but Never the Chevy part.
So when I was invited over here by a member of both forums, theirs was an easy act to follow, to say the least.
And the rest, as they say, is history.

I have been on J-L for a very long time. Way back some were irked at my "lump". Now, it is generaly accepted.
At one time the Lump section was super active. Now, almost ormant.
I post in the XJ6 section and try to help folks with issus. usually wellaccepted.
Gals have been there. Some left. I will not name the one that remains and posts regularly
I visit the lounge and pub.
Some stuff is OK. Other not t all.
