Default Location of G5 Grounding Point?

I have a new problem where my Windshield Wipers stopped working. They were working fine and then I was caught in a rain and they worked fine all through that. Next time I tried to turn them on nothing. I've checked the fuse and it is fine. Before I jump to the conclusion that it is the wiper switch (doesn't work on any setting) I want to rule out a bad ground. On the diagram it shows the location as "Right Bulkhead Connector (Below)". I have looked behind and around the battery on Passenger side and removed the glove box but I see no ground point. Before I remove the crash roll or more stuff, I thought I'd ask if anyone knows where this ground point is. "Right Bulkhead Connector (Below)" is not a very good description.

Unluckily, I am knee deep in my electrical. The G5 ground is on the edge of a strengthening rib directly outboard of the wiring bulkhead connector (right side). It's just a small 4mm bolt with star washers through a small hole the stiffener. Everybody is correct-ground are the root of most evils.

If you want to restore the factory wiring system you have to find those things and clean them. If you just want to fix your wipers, remove the clamshell around the steering wheel and the panel under the steering wheel. You'll see a big multi-pin connector for the wipers. You can check for power and ground right there.

Those wiper switches fail all the time. Mine would do two things and not the others. Every time I rebuilt it then it would do two other things and nothing else. Fast and slow; park and fast, intermitant and slow, etc etc. Tried about 6 used switches until I found one that worked (pretty well, anyway)
