Thank you all once again for the excellent help when it came to my 1983 Series III XJ-6.

Even though I do not have all issues solved with the XJ-6 I have caught the fever. I have now come across a 1974 XJ-12LE for just $500. It is a complete running car although not completely roadworthy from what I have been told. Has the four side draft carburetors, body and paint is nice with one rust spot under the side of the rear window. The interior needs work with the headliner and upholstery. the car has hardly been moved the past year which I guess is several ways is considered a project. Neither of the Jags are going to be daily drivers but I would love to have an old V-12 Jag. What should I look for, any particular normal issues? Where should I even start? It would be sad to see another V-12 Jag bite the dust if he parts it out. Appreciate any input. Yes the asking price is $500.
