For sale is my collection of factory Lucas Testers and Manuals from my shop. I have closed my shop and am selling all of my equipment and testers. It has taken a lot of time to collect these manuals and testers. As such, this is the most complete Lucas Diagnostic collection I have seen. My hope is this collection will stay together and be used to keep our cars alive. These testers are all confirmed in good working condition. Lucas EPITEST - YWB105 - 60073009 - Factory Fuel Injection Tester for Jaguar XJ6, XJ12, XJS. $1200
The Lucas EPITEST diagnostic tester was designed by Bosch for Lucas Fuel Injection Systems in the late 1970s. The EPITEST (Lucas Part No. YWB105, Bosch Part No. 60073009) was used by the factory and dealerships to tune and easily diagnose problems with the fuel injection system. The EPITEST can test D-Jetronic and L-Jetronic fuel injection systems commonly found on Triumph TR7, Triumph TR8, Rover SD1, Jaguar XJ6, Jaguar XJ12, and Jaguar XJS British Leyland Cars. Included with the EPITEST are two adaptors used to test other fuel injection systems. Adaptor 1 (Lucas Part No. YWB117, Bosch Part No. 60973061) is used to test Lucas P Digital Systems used on Jaguar XJ6 and Jaguar XJS. Adaptor 2 (Lucas Part No. YWB118, Bosch Part No. 60973063) is used to test L-Jetronic systems without Power Resistors used on Triumph TR7s.
Included is a complete 6 section original EPITEST manual (Part No. PLT6196) that covers the testing procedures for each fuel injection system. Also included are Dealership Check Sheets (For XJS, XJ6, TR7, TR8), Jaguar Dealership Training Manuals for L-jetronic and P Digital systems (in German), a Lucas Profit From Training Manual: Electronic Fuel Injection - Airflow Meter System, British Leyland Fuel Injection Components Manual, British Leyland Frontline Fuel Injection Manual, and 3 other Lucas Epitest Manuals on each fuel injection system.

The Lucas EFI Feedback monitor is used to set Triumph, Jaguars, & SD1s fueling at idle speed. It is used in place of CO/HC checking with infrared equipment.

The Lucas Electronic Ignition Analyzer is used to test all of the ignition components in Jaguars, Triumphs, MGs, Minis, any British Leyland car with electronic ignition from the era. This analyzer is designed to indicate low tension faults on 12 volt (inductive discharge) on electronic ignition circuits.
