Hi Guys,

new to the forum -- a little background on this project...

So i had a great, mint condition XJ6, and the engine blew up. I spent the past year lumping it with a 96 impala ss motor, with a 4l60e. After a month of small drives around the neighborhood, i found that the engine spun a bearing and was knocking bad.

I was about to give up, when i came across a very good deal on a 2004 LS1 engine and t56 combo. I'm wondering if anyone out there has attempted this same setup. I know of a couple LT1/T56 setups, but never an LS1. Is this possible? has anyone tried this setup?

thanks guys... i talked to andrew, he said he's never attempted an LS1/T56 combo, but he has done a T56/LT1 combo. I just need a pedal box to get this swap started.... any one have one lying around ;-)
