So a few weeks ago I flattened a cam lobe on my Jag's tired 305. I had just bought a 700R4 transmission with the plans of taking out the old TH350 and enjoying some better gas mileage for awhile. So I turned to CL found a Rebuilt but never run 350 Gen 1 for $500. Drove to Dallas, picked it up and went to work.

This last weekend, i was tired of the cam in the new motor and decided to throw in a new Lunati cam.


I still have more work to do. New heads are also in the works. The air cleaner as much as I liked the look was too tall for the hood, so I will be getting another. The Manifolds will be replaced with headers soon enough. I set the timing and have it pulling a solid 19" of vacuum at idle and it is at 12deg advance at idle and 32deg all in by 2800.

 

Evidently you are not shy when it comes to getting 'down and dirty'.
