Default Downdraft Conversion?

Has anyone done a downdraft conversion on their carb'd XJ6? I have searched and can't seem to find a manifold that would fit an XJ6. Seem to be plenty for MGs and Spitfires, but I kind of doubt they will fit. Any help would be great. I am tired of these damned sidedrafts.

Check Dellorto of California. I am looking into this also. Don't let the catalog fool you. They focus a lot on carbs for motorcycles. A while back I purchased a pair from them to install on a modified Datsun 510 and they worked great. Worth checking into

I’m running 2 weber 2 barrel downdrafts on my 77 XJc. I’m out of town now so I can’t get you the info on what, when , who. I’ll be able to post it here next Tuesday the 18th. Although I can tell you it does increase performance noticeably, and wasn’t too hard to setup. Plan on owning a selection of weber jets while you “get it right” geneo

late, but here it is. I bought these for $565.00 new, probably in 1984 or 85. Had to fiddle with them awhile to pass emissions, but now it's not a requirement. I don't know if Grand Turismo Jaguar is still in business, but the same kit is available from RedLineWeber.com I would do it al over again.

Thanks for the reply, sorry mine was so late. I did a quick search and found a shop in another city in Ohio by the same name, but theres no site. I will look some more. Thanks for the heads up. Good to know they were being sold at one point.
