Thanks Steve; I had some estimates to rebuilt my engine, I think will be the best option, but if I'm lucky I will find and used engine in good shape. I checked Johns cars web site, If I do rebuilt it I'm getting the parts from there.
Are we talking about swapping the entire engine and transmission, or just the block, etc? Your 76 XJ6 is a carberator engine. The 85 is fuel injected. Guess if you had a doner car you could swap the engine from the 85, along with various harnesses, and fuel system, such as gas return lines, pump, ECU, etc. It wouldbe a big project, but, depending on your ability, do-able. But, since your asking this question, it may be more than you would want to try.

Yes Steve, I thing maybe I have to install the old intake to this engine, I hope It will be no problem. Keith, the guy selling the car, installed in his car an 350 engine all chromed, hi fixed the car for a showrom, he removed engine, transmision, power stering, radiator and parts for this engine, i hope I'm getting everything I need, everything was working perfect before he removed it, the engine has 90K, Will see it tomorrow.
