Thumbs down New E mail adress

Well, my switch from ATT to Comcast triple has a major glitch.

Sales rep assured me that I could keep my "old" email address. A major consideration. Wrong, according to the Comcast Tech. An ARR address via Yahoo.

ATT shut me down. Struggled til I figured out what the h....
Edge let me read older messages.

So, I've a new address. carlhutchins@yahoo.com. Very close to what I
had but a clean sheet...

Rest message on yahoo.com via daughter checked out OK.

Gotta advise those that matter. Tomorrow's task.

POINT: Does it matter here?

Probably good to update your address in the User Control Panel (look in the drop down menu below your user name top right). If you have any notifications from JF (like advice of personal messages or updates if you subscribe to threads) the will then go to your new address.

Got it posted here correctly with help!!

carlhutchins83@yahoo.com !!!

Busy advising those that count. Others get a closed bounce, too bad.
No spam yet, either.

Amazing how large a part it plays in daily life.

Its odd (at least to me) that your old email provider didnt continue to support incoming mail for while and/or let you forward mail to your new address. They certainly seem to make it unnecessarily painful. External (to the ISP) mail like Yahoo/Gmail/Live will at least give you some stability.

I've edited out your email address, you might way to do the same in your message above.

There's no need or benefit in posting it on a public forum. It's a perfect way to get the spammer's attention.

True. But, here is a probably unlikely place to look.

Thanks, though.

Right now, there are 204 members and 4631 guests looking at this site. Maybe 500 of the guests are Jag owners looking for info. That leaves ~4100 others.

Guess what they're doing here?

Oh, me!

I'll see how good the Yahoo spam filter is. It was quite effective before.
So far so good.

Restoration of desired contact well under way. "In box" so much cleaner.

Silver lining in dark clouds???

Went to market. Jaguar purred. Coolish, so Coco went with me. Pizza and the "ordered" greens for lunch. Beck's bier on sale, yum.

Band saw fix going well. New sharp blade. Tune guides. One is more than odd. Thought it might be in "bas.wards". Nope, just weird design. An old Asian built HF special. I understand it more, bit by bit.
One or two more sessions and it will be back in service, weird stuff and all, unless I see a way to do better.

Base ball coming up!!!
