No power to fuel pump or antenna
82 XJ6 4.2 - Its been sitting for a couple months. I spent the day replacing all the vacuum lines and fuel injection hoses on the engine. I removed the throttle body and cleaned it inside and out and replaced the hoses on the air flow meter. Was excited to see how much better it runs and the fuel pump is not coming on. I used a spare battery and hot wired the fuel pump and it came on. I did not try to start the car this way. It got dark outside on me so I quit. I'll get back out there tomorrow to check the fuse but don't know where its located. Anything else I should check? HELP

This should help
Fuel Pump Circuit Checklist
There is no fuel pump fuse per se but one leg of the circuit shares a fuse with some other items, as I recall. Fuse #11 perhaps? I'm not close to my S57 book to look it up, sorry
There's a micro switch inside the AFM which is part of the pump circuit so carefully check the connector at the AFM to make sure the pins are OK....in case something went awry while you were working in the area
Cheers

Went through the procedure and replaced the relay with another I had here. It had the same pin set. Key on, no pump. I put a jumper wire under the relay wiring plug on ignition over to fuel pump and the car starts and runs. Don't understand unless the spare relay is bad on the same terminal which is unlikely. UGH

By the way....
Don't be fooled.....
The pump is not supposed to run by simply turning the key 'on'. The pump circuit has two legs. One operates when the key is turned to the 'start' position. The other operates via a switch on the flap inside the air flow meter....when the engine has actually started
Cheers
