Oil pressure

Oil pressure
After getting a oil change, I noticed the oil pressure stays a little higher than 40. What should I check for this. I been always using full synthetic. Where are all the electrical wires that control the sending unit and everything that works with the oil that I could check as far as electricity and everything else that could cause the pressure to slightly rise.

I don't see a problem with the pressure being a little over 40 psi.
The sending unit and wire for the gauge is on the right side of the engine near the oil filter. There's a small oil pressure *switch* for the warning light and a larger unit.....sorta bell shaped or dome shaped....for the gauge.
Cheers
