Hi
A query about the oil sensors series III 1986 4.2. There is two sensors on the right side of the motor one front and one on the back. Which does what?

 

i might be wrong but the front is oil pressure for gage and the rear is oil light, i also have an 86 series 3

Not sure but the mechanic doing the work needs the replacements from the spare. The oil pressure gauge not working. He did say to me that the larger one should be the gauge but I will give him both. I don't think he has spotted the rear one yet. It really is tucked away behind the oil filter.
