Default Petrol Tank 1980 XJ6

I am currently preparing to line the inside of a leaking petrol tank using KBS products. I would appreciate any comments on the experiences of those who have done likewise. Also, I have not been able to locate a schematic of the internal piping associated with the primary filter etc. Can someone point me in that direction please.

Thanks
Peter

Hello again, further to my previous post I have since received the attached from another forum. Most useful I think.

I finally used the KBS product to coat the tank inside. Bit of a fiddle to get out and in. Overall cost was about $150. So far it seams fine. Worth it I think but as it is only a club registered car I could probably like you just have used one tank and saved myself the time and money.

Well done!

I'm planning on doing both tanks on my S2 XJ6 and was thinking I'd use the POR15 version - though I think it's dearer!

I'm worried about what the sealant does with all those pipes we can see in those cutaway photos. What are your thoughts?

Cheers,

Tony.
