Default Plate on aft end of 4.2 block

Plate in aft end of 4.2 block on# C.27876

If I take this off, will all the coolant come flooding out?

the block drain is on the side of the block, washer part no. C.2296 and then a bolt.

early XK engines had a faucet there.

Thank you! I suspected an oil leak from around that gasket, and had 5 bolts removed (to change the gasket), when the coolant bolt of lightning hit me, That's when I decided to post the question. You helped me avoid ANOTHER stupid brain fart. Thank you!
