Series 2 body, Series 3 engine, few random wires-

up through the drivers foot well from the auto-transmission comes-



and to a series 2 interior in which they have no home? what are they?

also have a two plug grey-plastic blue and white connector orphaned below the radio

and

a three-plug grey-plastic plug up behind the dash right of the steering wheel, the three cords going in to it are red with a blue stripe/yelow with a green stripe and a dark green one; and it has no destination .. maybe a redundancy for other versions of the car?

i find a few cables going no place and figure a few are for few add on or upgrades?

and what would be the safest 'always live' feed to take to the boot and run a pump from? how heavy a wire would it need...?

 

the white and white with green stripe wires with the black fabric insulation look factory.

the electrical-tape does not look factory,

the black plug looks factory, and those are usually found behind the dash, perhaps for turn signal or wiper switches.

check what is NOT working, any switches or other electrical components rhar are not working?
