rear tail lights not working

rear tail lights not working
i have a 93 xj6 and i'm having trouble getting my rear tail lights and tag lights to work. both sides are out. i have checked the fuses and they seem to be fine and i took out the circuit board and put clothes pins on the circuits to allow the lights to work temporarily but i'm stumped on what to do. any ideas??

1. Can you take a picture of the circuit board where you have clothes pins? I'm not following.
2. Are you sure it's not the switch? In my 76, I have to jiggle my headlamp switch for my lights to work.
3. You're talking about a '93 in a board that's for older Jags. This post belongs in the XJ40 section (due to the year).
