Default Rebuilding fuel-system with 1 tank and AJ16 engine

Hello jag-guys;

In my queeste to make our lady (Series 2) beautiful again, i stumble on quite a few challenges ;-) ; one of these is that our lady is equipped with a LPG gastank, and only the left fueltank is there, the rest is gone... Now I have dismanteld this tank (with a immersed fuelpump) and ordered new rubber seals. Now I wanna rebuild the fuel-system with only one fuel-tank: therefore, do i need a non-return-valve? And another question: since I replace the engine for a AJ16 4.0 L (from a X300), is the immersed fuelpump (CAC3552) strong enough for feeding this engine, or shouls I replace it for a fuelpump of a V12 ?

As allways, warm greetings, Rudy

Rudy:

If the lady is an EFI car, the pumps will feed the AJ16 just fine. If a carb car, not even close.

Hi Carl;

Thanks for your support; I was thinking the same, but the pump was mentioned for a carburettor-type, so I consider to place a pump of a X300 in lady Suze.

Greetings, Rudy
