Iramphal, I don't know but Darren knows, he gave it to me with a BW66 transmission. The transmission and solid flex plate are now in my car.
I would have to say the shifting is quite smooth compared to my original BW66. No harsh pulls gear to gear. Whether that is a result of the solid flex plate I don't know either.

Eventually I will go for the GM 700r transmission.

I think the benefit was that occasionally over time the rivets can loosen and make noise. A solid/welded one won't do that.

bingo!!!
I chased a machine gun sound for weeks, turned out to be the rivets being lose on flexplate, so it got replaced with a solid piece!

Jose - I think I've troubleshot my transmission shuttering problem to a tired Torque Converter. How much did it cost you to replace that?

Bill I did not repair or replace the TC, used the same one that was there.
I have a spare one if you need one, from a BW66.

I also know of a fellow in Atlanta who rebuilds them but it is pricey. Try the one I have.
