replacing xj6 series III shocks with APX brand
what do you all think of this for replacing my front and rear shocks on my xj6 series III...they need replacing as they are the originals and i am thinking even if the below isn't the best quality it is probably better than what i have? anyone ever hear of this brand...
68-87 Jaguar XJ6 SHOCKS STRUTS Full Set, NEW, 6 | eBay

I'd like to know if anyone has used these myself. I know I should pony up and go with the Bilsteins HDs....Bilsteins have always done me right....but it's just so much expense. If these are even halfway decent you simply can't beat $180 for all 6 shocks. Guinea pig them for us.
I've not used these, but I have used Gabriel shocks on my Mercedes Benz 300D and they were just fine. I bought them because a set of four cost the same as one Bilstien shock and they come with a lifetime warranty from Autozone.
Autozone also sells Gabriel shocks for the Jaguar for $25 each for the front $65 each for the rear ($310 total) .With the lifetime warranty and a local store that will honour it, I plan to go with this brand when I get around to changing mine.
Even if they last a couple of years, I'll never pay a penny for another pair.
