Hello again,

I put the XJ6C in the paint shop for a new coat of silver. Front and rear windshields will be removed to clean up some minor pitting showing at the edge of the seals. We'll see what else shows up after the glass is removed. I ordered new gaskets The front gasket, BD48848, came from URO and it has a "V" shaped groove for the locking strip. My XJ6C has a round locking strip. I'm wondering if I got the wrong gasket or if the supplier is now supplying gaskets that require a different locking strip? and I need to get a new locking strip? Any one have experience with this?
