Default Series 1 Coupe?

Apparently two prototype Series 1 coupes were built.
Is this one residing in Western Australia really one of them?

What a cool car, I looked at a series 2 coupe for sale a few days back. But the Series 1 to me is sooooo much better looking,be it 2 or 4 door.

I think it's quite possible that it may be indeed. I found (on my endless search ) that there is a documented XJC in Australia that is apparently the first series II coupe built. I'd have to look it up again but the asking price was over $75k AUD.
A lot of the cool stuff ended up down under.
Series II cars are prettier... :-)
