Been trying to figure out how I want to do the interior of my XJ12C project and was wondering what the possibility is of retrofitting a Series 1 dash into the car? Do all of the contours match? I love the more classic look of the older dash and the round vents.
The current interior is toast and I plan to re-wire the whole car from scratch anyway. If it is possible, where would be a good source to find a complete donor dash & gauges?

Check with Robert Laughton (forum member). He is in the Niagara falls area and has 50 parting out jags - mostly early xj6's. He's a great guy to talk to and deal with. I'm sure he has what you are looking for.
