Default Series 1 wiper flick switch.

Now that I've re-co'd my old wiper motor, I was hoping to incorporate a press button "flick-switch" in the wiper circuit, to save having to reach for the standard switch to perform a single wipe (yes, I know I'm lazy, but the moderns have made me that way, thanks to all this active cruise and lane change rubbish).

Has anyone had a go at this type of mod. I tried to use the MGB folks blog, Wipers - Flick/Intermittent Wipe but it doesn't seem to work, probably because the in dash switches are different.
The Jag switch has 8 wires connected, the MGB only 4. Typical Jaguar over-engineering?

I see Roger Mabry may have dabbled in this field many moons ago. Thanks Roger for your contribution, but I am a bozo with electrics, so anyone who has a copy of "Wiper circuits for Dummies", please let me know!

Thanks & regards.

Peter

Many thanks Roger.
Unfortunately it looks like the Hella wiper kit is no longer produced,
But I will persevere.

Cheers

Pete
