Default Series II V12 shock absorbers

Hi all
Has anyone got suggestions for a complete set of shocks for my 78 Daimler DD? I'm in Australia.
Much as I hate to admit I'm trying to keep the budget down which goes against my grain as any car is only as good as it's shocks so normally I would buy very good ones but the amount of expense ahead of me getting the barn find on the road is scary although overall it is in surprisingly good nick.

I bought KYB Gas-A-Just from Amazon, free shipping with Prime. Fronts were 66$ and backs were $232. My car is still a year away from driving, but they seem like well built shocks. I live in Alaska.

'Tis nothing to feel bad about.

I don't think there are any bad shocks out there. And, depending on our driving tastes and style, buying at the higher end doesn't guarantee that you'll be happier.

Many have reported good results with KYB, as mentioned

Boge is also popular. A bit more money than the KYB, perhaps, but still much less than Koni and the like

Cheers
DD

I have used KYB, and Gabriel over the many Series cars, and neve rhad an issue.

KYB can usually be a tad cheaper, depending on who is greedy on the day.

Check Supercheap, Bursons, Repco, or even the ?bay, and play one against the other.

Last set (6) I got for an XJS (same), was $550, and about 4 years ago.
