Default Series III Headlight Conversion

I'm down a headlight and was wondering if anyone had any luck converting the sealed headlights with something like the Hella Vision Plus kit I put on my 88 RRC. The Hella kit uses standard H4 bulbs that you can find anywhere.

Duh, the fuse was good but the clips and the ends of the fuse were not making a good connection. Emery cloth and bingo I have brights again.

If you have a spare afternoon go around the car and clean every fuse holder, connector, ground point, lamp socket, etc that you can find. You'll pre-emptively solve about 90% of the fabled Jaguar electrical problems.

Repeat every 10 years :-)

Cheers

My multimeter is quickly becoming one of my favorite tools.

No kidding about the cleaning. Interestingly enough I've already had more quirky electronic issues on my 87 Jag than I have on my 88 Range Rover and the Jag is WAY cleaner.
