Hey everyone, this is my first post, I hope I've done it correctly.

I've looked as much as I could but haven't found anything regarding this part that I need for my Series III !
Apologies if there is a post about this already, if there is, will someone please direct me?
I have a 1981 Series III xj6 if that helps identifying the part I'm looking for.

I'm replacing the front door window scrapers as they are brittle and fell apart and I located the outer scraper, but I haven't had any luck finding the inner door scraper. I've looked in catalogs and other places and its almost like it doesn't exist.
The inner door scraper is attached to the door card upper roll that attaches to my door.
Does anyone know the part number or where I can purchase those pieces or if there is a substitute part?
I pulled the old one and it fell apart in my hand, but I got a picture of the part, see below.

 

not sure but I think it is part of the "velvet" rubber piece that attaches to the chrome edger at the top of the door card.

 

Thanks for the quick reply! So, I may need to look for the rubber piece as part of an assembly with the chrome piece as well?

 

it is a removable "Z" shaped piece that is the chrome finisher for the door card and also contains the glass velvet scraper. I know this because I have one of those that I am going to replace in my XJ.
